Celebrate The Small Things with Melissa + Giveaway

vik - small things 2

Time again to Celebrate The Small Things with our host VikLit.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much to celebrate for the week. I’m sick again and stress levels are up, mostly due to work. This has made it harder to focus on the small things, which is the point of this blog hop. I should try to make more of an effort so in an attempt to be positive, here are my celebrations:

  1. I’m alive

  2. I have a job

  3. Melissa Maygrove’s debut novel Come Back is due for release on May 12. Yes, it’s really her celebration rather than mine but I saw the awesome trailer she posted on her blog a few days ago and just have to share. She’s also celebrating the release with a rafflecopter giveaway!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Contest starts May 5th and ends at midnight on May 19th. Winners will be announced May 21st.

The two prizes are:

A $50 gift card to your choice of Amazon or Barnes & Noble (Book Depository for international entrants)

A signed paperback copy of Come Back for winner living in the cont. U.S. or Authorgraph + e-book copy (international entrant)

  1. Thanks for the mention! 🙂

  2. Sorry about all the stress. That must be done away with ASAP, so you can move on and be well. Sending you my best.

  3. I’m sorry that you’re not feeling too well. I hope you feel better soon.
The Melissa’s trailer was so wonderful – a mini film production. Come Back should be a big hit. Thank you for sharing this.
I wish there was some way I could join your site?

    • Thank you, Fanny. 🙂
Regarding joining a site, are you referring to mine or Cathrina’s?
If it’s mine, contact me and I’ll help you. 😉

    • Thanks for the well wishes! Yes it’s a great trailer, isn’t it? If you wish to follow Melissa, you can visit her blog (link is in the post). If you mean follow my site, there should be buttons on the right sidebar for you to subscribe through email, etc. (the follow me buttons). If you’re viewing the mobile site the follow me buttons should be at the bottom. Let me know if you’re still having problems and thanks for visiting! 🙂

  4. It’s easy to say de-stress and have a good weekend. I find Family and Laughter is the Best Medicine…

  5. Really hope things get better for you with work and stress…:) Have a wonderful weekend.

  6. Sorry you’re not well. Hope you soon have lots more to celebrate.

  7. No fun being sick and stressed. Watch a funny movie and take a leisurely walk. Fresh oxygen mixed with light exercise can air out the soul. A movie that’s gonna make you belly laugh will relieve much of that stress. Or do something silly. Hallie and I will dance around the house singing (badly) acting out our own music video while listening to our favorite tunes. Feel better, dahlin. Very cool trailer, btw. 😉

    • That sounds like fun. I sing (badly) quite a lot but not so much the dancing. I’m a worse dancer than I am a singer lol. Thanks for visiting and for the well wishes! 🙂

  8. Hope you feel better soon!

  9. Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you feel better…I had a crummy week too. Here’s to next week being better for us both! Cheers.

  10. I hope things get easier soon…and you find many more happy things! I once asked an older guy how he was doing and he said, “Any morning I wake up above ground is a good day.” I guess that’s a good way to look at it!

    • I agree. We definitely have to try and find the positive even when it’s hard. Some things we take for granted are blessings in someone else’s eyes. Thanks for visiting!
