Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly blog hop, wherein we post our celebrations each Friday, no matter how big or small. You can sign up here. Thanks to our host Lexa Cain and her co-hosts L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge and Katie @ TheCyborgMom for continuing what VikLit started!
This week, I’m celebrating:
- Getting help where you least expected it. I’ve been distracted of late due to some troubling news. I ended up sharing it with a colleague of mine (not something I normally do), and to my surprise, got some pretty useful advice from her. Whether or not they would work, I don’t know, but I suppose I’m celebrating more the fact that she actually took the time to give the matter some thought when I only mentioned it in passing.
My mom’s cataract surgery went well.
The weekend! It feels like it’s been a long, slog of a week and I’m so ready for the break.
What are you celebrating this week? Have you had someone go above and beyond what you expected of them? Anything you got planned this weekend? Hope you all have a good one!
